I just love these peonies from Trader Joe’s! These bring a little joy to a tough week.
To care for cut peonies, make sure they have a clean vase with fresh water, trim the stems at an angle, remove lower leaves, and keep them away from direct sunlight, heat, and ripening fruits. Change the water and re-trim stems every 2-3 days and these beauties will last.

My daughter is currently navigating one of the toughest social shifts a teen can face, being pushed out of her friend group.⁠

Watching her go through it has been heartbreaking. As a mom, I’ve wanted to step in, fix it, make it better. I get angry at the pettiness, cruelty, and how these girls don't stand up for one another. But I’ve learned (and am still learning) that my most powerful role is to stay steady, be present, and guide her through this with love and not control.⁠
