Today is the six month mark of when we lost our beautiful Laila due to complications of a spay surgery. She was only 6 years old and had so much life left to live with us. This has been a tough one to get over and not a day goes by where I don't think of her. My heart is still heavy from this sudden loss, and I miss her sweet personality, her tap dancing paws when she was excited, her curiosity, and love of snuggles. I'm not sure I will ever get over losing this girl. ⁠

I am diving into the why's and researching the necropsy report. I will have more on this subject in the near future, as I don't want this to happen to others.⁠
⁠
For now, I am cherishing her memory, loving on my Winnie girl (Laila's daughter), and moving forward as best I can.⁠

A strong morning routine can set the tone for the entire day, helping our teens feel more focused and energized. I try for follow my own advice below, BUT I am having such a tough time getting my daughter going!⁠
